Holy Crap! You mean to say that I haven't posted in almost 2 years??? What in the hell have I been doing? Nice to have some sort of life.
It's October now, which means the end of one of the 2 seasons in the northeast/midwest. Winter is coming, the season of Road Construction is ending. For the next 6-7 months we will not have to worry about orange barrels, speed traps in construction zones and narrow lanes, but will have to traverse in snow, sleet and ice. Follow that up with potholes next spring, it's just a neverending cycle.
Talked to a dealer today and asked him, "Is the whole state of Ohio under construction, or does it just seem that way?" His reply was a classic. "When your roads go to hell you leave them that way. We fix them."
Could have argued the point, but he was right.
